Cambridge ESOL exams are available at a discount for students attending state or state recognised (“parificate”) schools. Exam prices are revised annually in agreement with MIUR.
In return schools are asked to provide venues and support staff.
Cambridge ESOL also provides teachers with assistance in preparing students for ESOL exams in the form of seminars, teaching resources and materials.

- Use headed paper from your school. Draw up a list of the students you want to enrol, specifying the exam you are enrolling them for (a separate list for each exam).
- Candidates must be enrolled as a group. Individual enrollments or late additions will be treated as individual candidates and will have to pay the full price.
- The list must contain the names, surnames and dates of birth of all of the candidates, the name, telephone number and fax number of the school as well as the name of the teacher responsible for the students, to whom the enrolment information and results will be sent.

Candidates are only enrolled for an exam once we have received payment of the exam fees.

written exams: you can indicate your preferences but for for organisational reasons the final decision rests with the Associazione Culturale Italo Britannica. When the date chosen by the Associazione Culturale Italo Britannica does not coincide with that chosen by the candidate, the candidate will be informed 3 weeks before the exam.

We can provide facilities for candidates with special needs such as visual difficulties, hearing impairment, dyslexia, but please contact us directly well in advance of the enrolment period.
- Candidates with permanent disabilities are required to notify us at least three months before the enrollment dates for the exam.

Dates for must be agreed with the Associazione Culturale Italo Britannica at least 8 weeks beforehand.
- : The dates of the oral exams will be communicated later, by post. They could be on any day of the week (including Sunday), before, after or during the written exams. Their date can not be changed.

: For organisational reasons it may be necessary (except for CAE & CPE) to change the date of the written exam to another day approved by Cambridge ESOL. In this event we undertake to inform candidates in advance.

: in the case of certified illness only and at the discretion of Cambridge ESOL, fees will be partially reimbursed. In such cases the medical certificate must be sent to us within 10 days of the date of the exam. Enrolment fees cannot be transferred to another session, exam or person.

Transfering to other exams centres is possibile, both in Italy and abroad, on condition that the new centre accepts the candidate. It is not possible to transfer for part of the exam. The candidate will also be liable to pay the entire enrolment fee again at the new centre. In this case the fee paid to Cambridge ESOL will be refunded by the original centre while the local administration fee will not be refunded or only partly refunded, according to the discretion of the centre.

Transfer of level e.g. from FCE to CAE or of session e.g. from June to December, is not possible

It is not possible to pass on the enrolment to another candidate.

We reserve the right to cancel examination sittings or examinations if enrolments fall short of the minimum number required by Cambridge. In such a case those already enrolled will be fully reimbursed.

The scripts of the exam remain the property of Cambridge ESOL and cannot be returned. Results are sent directly to the candidate at the address given on the enrolment form.

The results will be sent to the teacher who enrolled the group who should then pass on the results to the candidates.
