(International English Language Testing System) enables you to satisfy the English language level requirements for university and training course entrance in English speaking countries.
It is possible to take the exam at the on the following dates:
- Saturday 17 December (full)
- Saturday 14 January
- Saturday 25 February
- Saturday 31 March
Dates in bold are only Academic. The others are both Academic and General Training.

The exam costs
Enrolments accompanied by the application form (PDF), 1 passport size photo and payment of €190.00 are accepted up to before the date of the exam at the (14-19 Tuesday to Friday and 10-14 on Saturday - Please note that during the summer the opening hours are 14-18 Monday to Friday). Payment can be made in cash, by credit card, bancomat, or by cheque made out to British Council.
Candidates can send the enrolment form (PDF) by fax (02/781119). Payment can be made by postal order (vaglia postale ordinario), addressed to . It is also necessary to send the original form plus one passport sized photograph by post to be received by us up to 10 working days before the exam. Photographs can also be sent by email to ielts.milan@britishcouncil.it
Candidates can enrol and pay online with a credit card. Candidates are also required to send a photograph to ielts.milan@britishcouncil.it
