Our 60-hour morning conversation courses provide students with the opportunity to practice and develop their conversational skills within a structured course but without the pressure of exam preparation or a strict grammatical syllabus. Students have the option of reading short texts as preparation for the class discussion and the teacher will provide exercises and practice on language difficulties, especially concerning pronunciation. The main focus of the courses, however, is conversation and the development of oral fluency. |

The course is designed for high-intermediate-level students (level 5 and above) who wish to develop their conversational and general linguistic skills by participating in class discussions in English. There are optional weekly reading tasks in preparation for each lesson but no formal homework or testing. The conversations are related to current affairs, culture and personal expression in general. Although the focus is on development of conversational, colloquial English, a part of each lesson is usually dedicated to any linguistic difficulties which may arise. |
